SL500 Ex SL55, ML55, S430
V12 after the 6 cylinder - Diesel!!
At the factory last week to collect mine the guide stated they start fitting the six cylinder engines in the next few weeks then the next engine will be a V12 Diesel.

Didn't get any specs but this was straight from the MB employees (the official tour guide - Max) mouth.
Funny enoguh another guy on the tour also collkecting a Black and Berry SL55 said exactly the same 'Why would you want a Diesel SL?'
I'll reserve judgement - if the performance was the same (very unlikely) and it did 40mpg put my name down!!
