Pics of my new SL55
It finally arrived and I'm lovin it. As far as I can tell, this would be the first, if not the only, pic of a graphite interior on an 07 55...cause I could never find one. After seeing it, I'm thinking I'll just leave the wheels alone, instead of tinting them anthracite to look like the 65's. Reus upgrade is due.

Very nice. Great color.
The 030PP is also a great option. I don't know if you ever experienced the SL55 without, but the LSD and brakes make for a much better car. I don't know about the undercarriage (Nürburgring suspension) as I didn't get that option.

faboulous looking SL55, I just joined the 2007 SL55 club one week ago and I am glad to be here. are your wheels 18 or 19 ? because mines have the 19 inch single spoke AMG wheels, I thought my wheels were the standard new wheels for 07. Enjoy the Spring with the top down.

Thanks everyone. Yes it is an awesome piece of machinery. I'm taking my time breaking it in according to the book, so can't comment on performance. I just know every trip, no matter how short or slow, is going to be an adventure in this beast.
No the bumper is a not of a 65. The performance package includes two additional air intakes on the front apron and that's probably what you're noticing.
As far as cost, yes I threw the budget completely out the window. I've worked hard, been divorced, been deployed, and thought WTF. I'm in good health and can enjoy it now, so why wait. I had a rental condo paid off, so I put the equity to work. Makes those tenant problems seem all worth it.

Return to the Dealer at 1000 miles
Don't forget to return to the Dealer at 1000 miles for the LSD oil change.
It's the only thing free besides the wheel alignments for the 1st 12k miles.
Check it out in the Owner's manual. Most service techs are too dumb to know this stuff not to say the salesperson.
