Gustav posted a article about SL55 prototype engine which led me to the bmw forum which led me to a section on the cannonball race they just had in the states with some great stories and some awesome videos. 1M, F550M, F550B, F40, S600, 365GTC, DBSx2, etc.
Lonman (Robbie) is a member here as well - and I don't think anyone did well. Finishing in itself is the goal, as I understand it places weren't taken.
