My 07 SL 55 Performance Package for Sale
Unfortunatly the time has come and I need to sell my 07 Opal Black on Ash SL55. My car is fully loaded with every option including the performance package. Here is a quick break down of what options I have on my car. Also the car has about 5000 miles on it.
This SL55 AMG has been equipped, from the factory with the SL65 package! Finished in Black Opal over Ash Nappa Leather with Black Ash Wood Accents, this 510 hp machine comes with options including Distronic, Parktronic, Voice Control, Active Ventilated Seats, Panorama Roof with Sunshade, Bi-Xenon Headlamps, Electronic Trunk Closer, Keyless GO, and the
AMG performance package containing the AMG Compound Braking System, AMG SL65 Front Fascia, ABC Suspension, 19" AMG Multipiece wheels, AMG Alcantera Sport Steering Wheel, AMG Sport Exhaust with 4 chrome AMG tips, 5-speed automatic transmission with Manual mode $ AMG SpeedShift Technology, and a Limited Slip Differential. Also the reason for selling the car, time to move on to something else.... unfortunatlly when I bought the car I didn't think the value would drop this much... Move on and I learned my lesson but on a great note who ever ends up with this car will be a very luck person with a beautiful car. I will add more pictures after these post...

When I bought the car I was also thinking about a 65 but liked the 55 more... i liked the wheels on the 65 so i told the dealership to switch the rims for me...

Today is the day to sell the ultimate SL55
Yeah, I know it is kinda strange how they do this with the 55's and 65's...

Tough market right now especially here in Cali

All the Real Estate and Mortgage Guys are trying to get out of leases.
And here in So. Cali. Thats a bunch of cars coming back on the market.
I have a contact at a Benz dealer and the high end stuff is slow
right now.
One suggestion. Drive it down early on Saturday to Coffee and Cars
in Irvine. Every Sat at 7:00 AM. I had a friend finally get a good price
for his "Perfect Low Miles" CL55 a few months ago. Look for his thread.
03CL55AMG. He had the same issue. Great car and too few real buyers.
He came to the show every week for like 6 Weeks. But finally got a buyer
that appreciated the low miles and all the bells and whistles on a high end Benz.
Make sure you have it in Auto Trader and if you can bear the E-Bay
experience. It may be worth the effort.

My 10 day ebay session just ended and with a start price of 114,999 and no reserve i did not get one bid... 
Is anyone else out there having a hard time moving there 55's

When I sold my SL65 the 5k miles I put on it cost me 45k. Depreciation isn't pretty. Just keep it out there and someone will step up.

Take it back to the dealer where you bought it, I wander how much they will offer you. Or if they have something you'd like to trade it in for, they might give you a decent deal. Unfortunately, the depreciation on Mercedeses is insane... SL65's were 200k new and you can now buy them for low 100k's. Never buy a new Mercedes, especially AMG.

I just can't believe the depreciation on these vehicles... it is just insane, but that is ok. The car is a great car and I enjoy it. I am going to get another car what I am not sure of yet. I also did take it to the dealer and they way lowed balled me. I just relisted the car on ebay with a starting price of $114,999.00 with no reserve. here is the listing
