Spotted: license plate - 10SECSL

I was on vacation in the Bay Area in NorCal this past week. Last Saturday, my friend picked me up from Oakland Intl Airport at around midnight. Right when we got onto the fwy, we saw a silver SLK55 RennTech, a SL65 (plate 10SECSL), and a blue 997 Turbo (plate starts with A, also had chrome wheels I think).

Just wondering, are these Treynor's cars? They're beautiful cars, and that SL65 looked sinister at night!

I think that was Treynor's monster 65, he has that plate IIRC

The SLK Renntech is Jesse's and the porsche 997 TT and SL 65 are both Ben's. They were on the way home from Sacramento raceway.

Yep, the 997 and the SL65 are my babies. The 997 plate is "ARXIDIA" and the plate frame says "This Car Is Nuts"

How do you compare those baby. I'm now havent decide which to go, R230 or 997. Is your 997 cabrio, just wondering how reliable soft top on porsche

They are both great cars, but very different. The SL65 is smooth, quiet, comfortable, luxurious, and stealth - a GT car with a monster engine. The 997 is a sports car - ride, noise, etc. are all harsher than the SL by a good measure, but so are the handling and brakes. I'd be hard pressed to choose if I had to have just one -- probably I'd keep the SL only because it's a convertible.

My 997 is a hardtop, FWIW.

I spotted '10SECSL' in Los Altos today. I had my SL65 with me but no sign of the other owner. I see that treynor is banned from mbworld.org. What's up with that (if it is PC to ask)?
