Is trhe Renntech Intercooler necessary in the 600 upgrade?
I'm now, for various reasons, looking at buying a 600 with the AMG package, and then upgrading it at a Chicago area Mercedes dealer. I'm clear on the utility of the ECU, TCU and airbox upgrade. Is the Renntech Intercooler desirable or necessary?

Dave, drive the car and see if you really need it. The 600 is a great car in it's own right. If you decide to plunk the money down for the RTech I would get the intercooler. I understand that if temps aren't correct you will get worse performance than a std. 600.
