SL55 Service Questions
I am only putting about 800 miles per month on my Sl55.Should I do the scheduled service every 6 months or just wait till the service indicator says so.I know some manufatures want you to do service every 6 months if you are not driving enough miles.What does Mercedes say?

Mercedes will only service when it is indicated on the cars computer. Tried to do mine with it saying service in 5k mile and they told me they would not do it because it was not called for.

I agree, it's pointless having the car serviced more often than the service indicator suggests but on the other hand, it's pointless skimping on quality when it is required. Just follow the service indicator and you'll be fine.
