Intercooler Vacuum Line
I just replaced the stock intercooler with the Johnson CM30. Does anyone know why the stock unit has a vacuum line? What is the proper why to deal with it?

What did the vacuum line go to? It must have some effect since it was there to begin with...
Also, does the inter cooler exchange antifreeze with the main radiator?
If not, how do you add more water if some is lost during the IC pump swap?

That hose is actually a vent, but the revised pumps are ventless, so either connect it to the plugged vent tube on the pump or leave it hang. It goes up about a foot before terminating behind the headlamp.
