Unless I've misread this thread it seems there may be a firmware upgrade for COMAND 2 already. There is also a data take-off pictured here which is easily attachable, I guess to give computer e-mail / data access to GSM or WAP-enabled phones. I suspect 16:9 screens will filter in as model upgrades occur.....
