Picking up new 07 SL55 tomorrow.
I just couldn't help myself. I just bought a new 07 SL 550 in August. Now I traded it on a new 07 SL55. Wife and family think I'm crazy. Yes, for more power. The new one is Opal Black with Stone. Has all the goodies except, Parktronic and Distronic. I have 230 more miles to go. Bought in Ohio, leave in Houston. Can't wait for the drive home.

I finally made it to Cleveland today. The rain on the way up was just plain terrible. Got to the dealer, spent 45 minutes going over the car. It was PERFECT, except the rear truck brake light was broke, plastic cover was lose. Same thing happen when I got my 550. Quality isssue? Anyway, I of course raised you know what. They ordered one for overnight delivery and will install in morning. I talked to the Sales Manager. I told him about how I had spoken with him about making sure everything was right before I drove 1300 miles and how he promised me it would be. Guess what, he gave me another $500 off for my inconvience and having to spend another night. Anyway the color I just love. Will post pics. when i get back.
