It sounds like you will be shopping for quite a while to come...

Ac seats are an option and don't come as a package with pulse seats. My car did not have any options but pano and I sold for 75k. I think you will be looking for a long time for a car in your price range. Maybe even long enough that you may get the car but several month later when that is what the car is worth.

do you guys think that $65k for 30k miles car is better deal than $70k for 12k miles? which one is better deal? I am looking at one with 30k miles for $65k and 12k miles for $70k. they both are identical far as options. they both have pano, keyless go, pulse seating. both in white but one with 30k miles have ash interior and 12k miles have dark gray interior. which one is better deal if I can get it?

The one with 12k miles is a better deal IMO

You name it i've had it or got it...
here is the issue you will face...on one hand the 30k mile car is right on par with wholesale...plus with the color...you are actually perfect. i would only buy that car if you don't intend to keep it long and plan to sell it before it hits 40k miles. this car is actually a good flipper car if you were a dealer. on the other hand the 12k car is a good deal, but is more of private party pricing...so you will go into the car with a slight loss. but if you plan to keep the car for longer term i would say go 12k car. if you over 40k on the other car then you will start to watch the dollars fly out the window. the thing is it is a mercedes so you will lose money no matter what...tough choice.

Ron,

Thank you so much for your feedback... I am hoping that I will keep the car for while.. I get sick of cars easily but I have been wanting SL55 for a very long time. I bought Porsche Carrera 997 instead and head it only for 6 months and i still coulnt get over SL55 so i sold the car a week ago...

I thought $70k for 12k mile car was a smoking deal.. people are saying that it will take me a long time for me to buy it at that price.... people have different opinion...

I am still working on that deal but I just got off the phone with the dealer who have 30k miles car and they are telling me that they this for sale for around $85k.. which I think its bs... I offered him $64k but I dont think it will fly....

I think I have better chance at 12k miles car for $70k. I have to pay for shipping so it will cost me around $70k+ shipping.... I need to ship it from NJ to Chicago IL...

As far as colors, I prefer ash interior rather than dark gray but can't have it all... I am looking for better deal...

I have not yet seen in person how does dark gray interior.. what are your thoughts on that?

interior is personal preference...but i think all the mercedes interiors are great...i just don't like tan, but i know many people who love it. the gray to me is a great color. 70k is a good deal don't get me wrong...and the fact that car is white doesn't help your case much. if you could get it for 70k i say go for it...afterall if this car caused you to sell your p-car...price should be one of your last concerns (but still on your agenda). i think when you are driving it and then you look back you will forget about all the trivial stuff....it's only money

no problem man...let me know what happens. like i said that 12k car sounds like a nice car and the main thing is you would be getting hammered at that price. the grunt of the depreciation on the car as been had. the main thing is to not get that 1st year beat down....after that is a guessing game...

Are they both the same year? If so, then the $70K is the MUCH better deal. 18K miles has a greater cost than $5K in resale.

KBB values the difference in mileage as only about a $3K difference (on wholesale value) but OF COURSE, it places nearly $12K as a difference in PRIVATE PARTY valuation. Hmmm, seems that KBB is VERY leveraged towards the dealers on this one. Imagine that! Split the difference?
