SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: replacing wood trim in the SL

I have a guy doing just that for me right now, for the second time.
Then I leave it at the paint shop.
Last time painted in the same colour as the car (obsidian black).
And this second time, since this car has black interior instead of light grey, I'm going for the same silver paint that's on the corners of the doors when you open them. And then the steering-wheel in obsidian black.
(These are two different cars, of course.)
Then it takes about another hour to get the wood back on again.
So 2 hours then, totally.
And to get it painted, I pay about a $100,-.
It turns out really nice!
I presume that it's the wood you wanna get rid of, and it's sooo worth it..!
If you want detailed info about the procedure, just let me know, and I'll try to help out.
In that case, PM me, since I can otherwhise miss it.

There is a carbon fiber set being sold.. door panels and center console. But, what keeps me from buying is I want the shifter knob & steering wheel carbon fiber too.

No problem.
As long as I don't have a sharp object in my hands, while stroking the panels, it'll stay on there.

The surface is to be compared to the paint job on a car, since it's a car-paint-shop that does the work for me...
And this time, in my new car, they even did the steering wheel (in the same colour as the car, obsidian black).
Turned out great!
