agree on the sound if only my 65 sounded that good. Does the clk63 be sound like that? I dont recall it being as deep sounding but maybe I am wrong.

It looks almost staged to me. Like a stock SL with some tape and patches on it. Usually turbo cars have a more wooooshhhhhhing sound coming from the exhaust as well. The air just rushing.

Well if you don't know yet, I'll break the news for you, IT IS NOT TURBOED! Its same freaking 6.3 NATURALY ASPIRATED as in any other 6.3 AMG now.

Sorry for the disappointment!

The specs have been on the German site for over a week now, it is the same engine from the S/CL63 models, no turbo.

Sounds brilliant....

Does it sound like this iteration of gearbox has rev-matching blips? Would guess it will be slightly more advcd vs C63's and CLK63BS'.....

Hopefully, SL63 gets an advcd braking system like CL63's, w/great pedal feel....IMO, '07 SL65's brake pedal feel was a major dynamic weakness vs Porsche's PCCB or Ferrari's CCM brakes....

Kudos to AMG for consistently developing the most interesting-sounding, yet elegant/daily-commutable cars.....can enjoy a great exhaust note daily, even at fully legal speeds on boring urban roads....or while attempting precision amateur driving at civilized speeds in mtn twisties on wkends....will be really cool if gearbox will have the downshift blips even in Auto mode, let alone Manual mode....

I heard there was a software update for all 63 cars that included rev matching blips as well as 10% faster shifting?
