The 06 and older SL600 has basically the same front brakes as the SL55 except the caliper says MB not AMG. The rear brakes are similar to the SL55 but the rotor is not drilled like on the AMG car. I do not know if the sizing is the same in the rear but the front has the same rotor.

Only the 07 and on cars have the 6 pot brakes since the 8 pot was removed from the production sequence.[/QUOTE]
