. I will never own a Mercedes without a full coverage warranty and a great dealership close by.
the ppl that usally have this issue are the ppl that let these cars SIT . For instance when u store the car for the winter ..... u have to ATLEAST TURN THE CAR ON 3 TIMES A WEEK AND IF POSSIBLE DRIVE IT UP AND DOWN THE STREET IF THERES NO SNOW ON THE ROAD.
the minute u neglect this car ..... thats when problems start. she needs to be driven in order to get energy . if u dont feed urself ur joints etc... wont work properly either.

You have owned your SL for how many weeks now ?

In Reality.
Which does not have any snow on the road in July.
You should be able to let your ABC equipped Benz sit for many weeks without
issue. Saddly the one weakness with the ABC system is leakage and filtering.
If your car is leaning after sitting for a few days. The system is leaking and needs attention. Also in this thread is mention of the recall for the finer mesh screen in the filter. Make sure your pre 2005 Car has this recall performed
and the system flushed. ABC issues should only be addressed by a MBZ Dealer.
I let my CL500 and my SL55 sit for 2-3 weeks without ABC issues of any type.
That rodeo feeling you are getting is the system trying to balance and align.
Something is wrong with one of the sensors or a strut. Get the dealer to fix it.
Its not safe to be driving these cars with faulty ABC systems.

I am having new pipes fitted at the cost of over $2000, but then I was losing fluid.
