SL65 Tire Choices.

Ok need some first hand help from my fellow AMG Owners .

I bought BiTurboAMG`s 19" SL65 Gun Metal AMG Original Wheels.
Going to have them here on Friday.
Going to put them on my SL55 as pictured below.
I am sick of my stock wheels. They look OK but they are like keeping
a pig in mud clean with brake dust. So I wanted to keep it AMG stock
and go to the 19`s. Always liked the SL65 Wheels as well......

Question is:

Are the Bridgestone RE050A OEM Tires the way to go ?

Looks like you can get Michelins but not the same weight rating
but I am getting conflicting info from different sources.

Thanks in advance

I thought you bought a 65 when I read the title

Get PS2's Bill, they are great tires....quiet, grippy and great ride quality.

Michelins PS2. Thats what I am thinking too. But the weight specs are lower.
The SL55/SL65 book says Tires need to be 96F and 98R on the weight specs.
And the best on the PS2`s is 92F and 94R. I know my SL55 weighs less
than a SL65. But more than your SL. And then factor in my fat butt.....

Murtaza,
Did you get your car all back together ? I missed the TJ meet.
I am supposed to get my SL back Friday from the shop.

Michelin makes the 255/35/19 96Y and 285/30/19 98Y just like factory spec.
