SL55 VR550 runs at the dragstrip
Hi guys, I took my SL55 with the VR550 package to the dragstrip the week before. This was my very first time ever running at a dragstrip so I was as green as they come and even running on stock oem tires I was able to turn out some pretty impressive times and traps. Wheelspin was horrible mostly due to me being inexperienced. With some DRs and a lot of practice the car can do a lot better. Anyone considering a tune/pulley should definatly look at the VR550 as opposed to Kleemann or Renntach as it definately works as advertised.

Nice run!
Yeah, if you can launch a little more cleanly--or find a track that uses more VHT--there's room to take a couple of tenths off your 60 foot time.
But great work for the first time out!
