Guess how many 2005 SL55`s were made for delivery in North America ?
Its like 1542.
In 2003 I dont have the number but its the highest of the numbers below.
In 2004 5217 Units
In 2005 1542 Units
In 2006 748 Units
These numbers are availbale on the AMG Lounge.

Another issue is the cheapest I see ANY 2005 SL55 on E-Bay and Autotrader
is in the very high $50K`s. And thats with high miles and no warranty.
So your coming on a Internet Board that has mostly people that take good care of their cars and asking them in some cases to take 35% off what their
2005 SL55 is worth on the open market and wondering why your getting the "finger" so to speak. And there are only 1542 cars for you to choose from and lets take out the ones that have been lemoned and wrecked. Your choice is very narrow indeed. Your NOT going to find the car at that price.
Now its up to you to prove us wrong. We have given you the advice you asked for to the best of our ability.

Well i said b4 .... i aint just looking for 05 .... I would love to buy a 05 because of the changes the car had... plus its newer. I dont mind purchasing an 04 03 still either . As long as its LOW km/mile and well kept and has the color combos i was looking for , im happy

Last time I'm wasting any more time on this thread, but
just FYI, the CHEAPEST 04 SL55 sold at Mannheim DEALER auction--not to a retail customer--brought $32000 about two weeks ago. It also was yellow flagged, meaining it has some issue--body damage, cloudy title, something that makes it bring that kind of money. Just for another example, an 04 with 53k miles--that's still out of warranty on time or miles--brought $46500 at the Naples auction less than a week ago. That's more realistic. And remember, that's an 04--not the 05 that you'd like with the changes. And that doesn't inculde the buyer's fees, the cost of shipping it home, or any reconditioning, which EVERY car at the auction needs--much less any profit.
Good luck to you. If the "deal" is more important to you than the quality of the car, then you'll get what you pay for. You're probably at the wrong board.

If you don't want to listen to everyone and get a car without warranty, that is certainly your choice. Just don't complain when something breaks and you have to pay for it.

Prices have maintained well for sl55 the past couple of months. Even though the economy is in the crapper it hasnt effected the prices much.
As far as the pic, you must be an idiot for posting it on a forum.

I came across an exotic dealer ship here in Toronto and the guy told me he gets them from MB Canada for alot cheaper then anyone else. So im going to wait and see wat he can do for me . plus he will supply warranty str8 from MB , so thats good also.
I will post pix as soon as i get the car ..... i wanna take some b4 and after shots of the car . The reason why is because i will mod the car with abit of goodies.
