I recently bought a 2003 SL55 with the factory phone option. Unfortunately the phone was gone. I purchased a Mercedes Motorola V60s phone on ebay and had it activated through Verizon. It plugs into the cradle fine but when I scroll to the "Telephone" screen it shows "Initialising Phone" and seems to hang up there. Is there any way to make this work, or do I need to take it to the dealer?

Verizon might have "updated" the phone software, which would wipe out the proprietary MB version that you need to interface with the PSE.
