I have a 05 sl55.
At times when the vehicle was cold and when I hit the highway right away. There would be a complete loss of power. Stop the car, go to Park then to drive, all as fine. I brought it to the dealer, and the codes came up that the valve body in the transmission was defective and they replaced it under warranty.
I have not had the loss of power since. However the car now shifts tough at start. I have the only sl55 in the area and the mechanic has not worked on one before. He is recommending to connect it up to star and see if there is a new update for the transmission.
My question is there any adjustments he can make with the shifting of the transmission or is it just a computer program and that is it.
Thanks
