2003 SL55 AMG; 1977 450 SLC
It was Friday night in front of my house, around 10:30pm where my cousine came in and he said that the car looked fine. Then around 10:50pm while my brother leaving the house. He called me and said What the hell you sprayed your car.. Of coue\rse I answerd What spray... ( I parked the car infron of the house around 9:10pm)... Then he told me to come and have a look. While I was on my way thinking someone must sprayed some foam as a joke... When I saw it... I couldn't breath for a second... I was so PO.... The problem... I even told the police that... I don't have no enemies... I can't think of some one hate me so much... My last guess was, that some one like the car so much that he hated me for having it.
By the way, On saterday after noon. I took it to a friend's body shop, he cleaned it using thiner. I was scared for a while for harming the origenal paint. But he said that the lacker on the paint will protect it. Afetr he was done with the thiner (It took him 2 houres), then he gave her a coat of soft wax to give her the right shine. I see it that it lost some shine.. But it is beter than teh spray paint.
Only if I can get hold of that guy....

Also if you don't have a secure place to park it I suspect whoever did this may well be back....many many years ago I had a golf gti that someone poured paint stripper and de-icing fluid (or a similar green thick liquid) onto my bodywork....took a total respray to get it sorted.
Sorry to hear of your experience but try to keep the car somewhere secure....I've got underground parking.

I live in a nice neighborhood in Kuwait.. It never hapen befor. But As i said... someone realy wanted the car so bad... My brother's 2003 E240 was parked 3 feet away from me (where the black paint was)... nothing happened to his car... so that person wanted only my car. And he didn't do it early morning (like 2:00am or somthing like that). If my brother left the house 5 min earlier.. he would have cought him... becuase when we came out, we still can smell the paint... and in soem ereas was still wet.. so that person didn't caer if he get cought.. I guess for him, it was worth it...
Now I started to park it inside... am crowding my dad's car, but he doesn't mind..

dont worry... it happened to me before. My car was egged and spray painted. Mineral Spirits will take the spray paint right off. Just put it on a 100% cotton towel and wipe it off. You must wash your car first. After doing this follow up with a good quality wax.

Thats the kind of thing thats really is a shame , people who do this **** should have the crap beaten out of them and then turned into the police for punishment! Were I come from we might wait out here to catch them or even better set up video cameras to catch them next time. It is amazing what u can do with electronics. Get em, dont let them get u again with out a penelty

Park it in the same place like you did. All cleaned up. Stay in a window with a loaded shotgun and see if the fuc*** comes back. I'm really sorry to see that happen to such a beautiful car. Its people like this that bring down society. Im glad you got it cleaned up, just be careful from now on.

Man, that is terrible. Here SL55Lova - people scratch cars. My Golf has a scratch along the side of the car from start to end. Someone did it at work. I dont drive my benz to work nor park it outside the house ever. I only park outside when I have to like going to a resturant or shopping where there is security (even that doesn't help, if someone is after you - they are after you) I believe this is really one jellaous guy that wanted you and not your brother. I am glad it came out though. Alla yesam7ahom halnas ma3ndhom salfeh.

Stolen SL Car Anntana ...
2 days ago... Someone unscrewed my Car Anntana ... YES THE Small SL ANTANA .. and threw it on the other side of the street .. where I haven't driven on...
Can you beleive it .. It was deeply scratched, scared you name it, but I got a new one and they screwed it tight .. but I don't understand how ppl would do such a thing .. MY GOD!
Why didn't they fix the antana tight so it wouldn't be screwed off!

I'd like to know from other fellas, does this happen in your countries also? seems so freaking common in the middleeast !!! Sorry about your Antena Car_Lova. Why can't people just leave other's assets alone?? My dad's friend owns 2 S320's - He never leaves home without his car guard (You heard me right) He has a guy that stands outside his office looking after his cars - its that bad.
