I have PS2's as well and am getting the exact same driving on water feel, I filled them to 50PSI and it's a bit better. Can't wait to be done with this set...
I filled my rears to 50psi and the problem is nearly gone, mine was worse as the torque on 600's is higher I'd get the wobble while changing lanes under hard accelleration on frwy NOT anymore w/50psi, but still a bit from a stand still burnout, deff makes the car livable till I get these sukka's wore out & buy Bridgestones...

Thanx again Alex!!

I dug this old thread up in case anyone ever makes the mistake of putting Michelin PS2's on their car. I swapped cars with a friend who has an SL600 Renntech and sure enough, the car does the snake dance when you step on it. I get out to check the tires, and there they are: Michelin PS2's. Fortunately, I'll be taking my AMG rims with Brigestones. So just another confirmation of the worst tires on the market.

Am getting rid of my michelins this week. It's obvious that a lot of michelin drivers have those problems. Going for the Rosso's.

I had a 2006 SL500 with AMG trim and AMG rims. She would "track" like she had a mind of her own. Especially following road repair seams.
Then I got a 2007 SL550 50th Edition. It had wide rims but not AMG and Michelin tires. It tracked fine at various speeds.
Now I have a 2007 SL55 with AMG rims and she tracks fine and no wobble. So tires and rims could be an area to check. Good Luck .

The Toyo T1R's are the best for this car hands down. They grip like CRAZY and have amazing wet weather traction as well.
