Have you ever wondered why a SL63 is 100 grand in England, and yet
it's only 100,000 dollars,in the U.S. that about half what we pay.
How much does your car feel , money wise, knowing that's it's being
sold for half the price somewhere else and still making a profit, obviously
they sell more, but how many SL63's would they sell in the UK if it was
50 grand.

Wrong board to ask really, since its 90% NA, so we feel pretty good about it
Seriously however,on the websites, the US s63 is actually $133,000, the UK s63 is $202,000. But UK prices are OTR, whereas the US price is plus prep, state taxes, etc. It may still be cheaper, but substantially because of local tax levels paid by the buyer. The US price maybe less, but not by as much as you think.
The rest of the difference is likely due to the fall in the US dollar since MB set the prices a while back. All exporters have to deal with fluctuating exchange rates - just a fact of life!
