what do you mean front's are different? how are they different?

Only reason why I asked for pictures was because I wanted to see how much gap it will have on the car. between the tires and the actual car. i dont like my cars to have huge gap.

do you think it will have huge gap between the wheels and the body??? On the new Sl looks great... but not sure if the gaps are going to be bigger on the older body...

Other than the front bumper, grill and fog lights there really isn't a difference in the bodies. Since the fenders are the same, I don't see how the gap would be any different.

Whether you use these, or something similar,

even in 20" size, you're just not going to get the right look until you get the ride height adjusted. You can do it via a module, links, or Star Diagnositc lowering. If anything, the gap is going to be even more pronounced with the 19's than the 18's. It s an easy fix. I'm going to try to attach a picture of my car. lowered with SDS.

It's your lucky day. Found these somewhere.

Mind you there are 2 sets of these wheels with different ET values for the SL and for CLS. These have the CLS ET value.

Front: ET25
Rear: ET28

Fits perfectly and makes a slighter wider track.

Mind you (2), these are my winter wheels with 255 wheels front AND back with staggered wheels nonetheless. Makes the rear slightly skinny compared to the summer wheels.

(more pics here in the attachments: https://mbworld.org/forums/sl55-amg-sl63-amg-sl65-amg-r230/177333-new-wheels-considering-lowering-question.html )

Don't all SL55s from model year 2007 onward have those wheels?

I have those same wheels.
