I like my IForged wheels.
Only thing I would have done different (and will do this winter) is to have the whole rim powder coated black with a thin red pinstripe on the side. Like a time attack theme.
These polished lip are a PITA to keep clean. I have to wax my rim every time i clean the car.

One users had a set of Forged 360 split sevens that I thought looked great. I'm trying to decide on new rims, I like the SL65 rims but I was told that they are really hard to get the brake dust out of all the hex key bolt heads. I have the standard turbine wheels now, but find them a nightmare to clean. How much of a pain in the A*s is it to clean the SL65 rims?

I went from the Turbines you have to the SL65`s on my ride now.
Like night and day to keep clean.
Just do a good job with the pressure washer and the Hex Keys are good for a week. The Turbines look like crud after a few miles and take 20 minutes to clean. The SL65`s clean up in a quarter the time and look great after a couple days still.

Keep an eye on E-bay and here. I got mine from a good member here.
Normally nice used ones are going to run $ 3,500.00 to $ 4,000.00
Some on Ebay now. Item # 170247035918.

Note:
I sold my Turbines to a member here for $ 1100.00 and they were not perfect either.

The AMG 65 Wheels are so good looking on the SL55. The 19" ride is is bit rougher. And the Michelins PS2`s I have seem to have a little issue when you launch it hard as far as "drift/pull" over the 18" setup. The 295`s in the rear
are a little wider than spec 285 Bridgestones. But they fit nicely and look
nice and wide from behind.

But overall I am way happy to ditch my turbine wheels. Way worth the investment. And its still real AMG gear on the car. To me that was important. I just dont want to worry about my wheels at high speed or in a hard turn in a canyon. This damn car weighs so much I just didnt want any issues with aftermarket wheels.

This looks awesome and would look better if the spokes were larger and thicker.. You can see the brake rotors/calipers and makes cleaning the wheel super easy. Nice simple, clean look,..

Lotus Elise SLK55
I think HRE 547R's look the best on SL. They are simple, classy, and elegant.. some of these other wheels are just too over the top and don't flow with the car's lines as well.

Generally true. The SL65 Black Series has 20" AMG rims on the rear though.
