Tranny Leak Q

Looks like I'm leaking tranny fluid (pink). After calling the dealer they said it's probably just an O-Ring needs replacement located by some electronics and it's an easy 1/2 hour fix. Looking at the fluid on the garage floor....looks like it's located in the passenger side right in front of the dash. Are tranny leaks common on these cars? It's a '06 SL65 with 2,300 miles (build date was in late '05). Thanks.

The O ring tranny leak is a common occurance on the 5 speed transmissions. I had it on all 3 of my AMG's. Like the dealer said it is a 1/2 hour repair. Once it was done I have not had any further problems.

Thanks guys.....off to the dealer tomorrow morning. Hopefully it's just the o-ring and nothing more.
