SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Should I switch from SL500 to SL55 AMG

Should I switch from SL500 to SL55 AMG
While my car was in for some more remedial work I noticed that the MB Dealer was offering a same vintage SL55 AMG for just $5k more than I'd paid for the SL500 4 weeks ago
I test drove it and was impressed by its ferocious power and yet I;m still not sure if I should switch ??
Anybody made the switch ?
I see some 2005 SL55 ABC issues any other gremlins I need to be aware of

I haven't had much time in the car, but I can tell you that the engine note, supercharger whine and exhaust alone are worth the price of admission.

Naw...just get a SL55 badge and put on your current car...
...HECK Ya...If you can swing it I'd take the torque therapy of the AMG over the non-AMG sibling any day.

That should not be a hard decision at all. For just $5k more, you get an unbelievably monstrous engine, AMG suspension, seats, brakes, tuning, etc.....

Do the switch, I went from a SL550 to my SL55 and I thought I loved the SL550, Well , I can't stop thinking about my 55, it is a major leaque differance. What a car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sound 8 k&n filters
Hi, sorry but can someone help.
I bought some K&N air filters for my SL55, but before I fit them
someone has told me that the fine oil in the filters can mess up your air
mass meter. Any body with these had trouble. Thanks.
