ECU mod in sl55
Just curious, does the ECU mod void out any remaining factory warranty and or will it void an extended warranty policy?
I would assume it does but just wanted to ask

My SL55 had been into the dealer multiple times during the warranty period and the only thing my service advisor would say to me is that the techs would say it was one of the strongest running SL55's that they had coming through.

So, maybe some software will be visible to the dealers, I can say that ours is not. Keeping the warranties in tact was one of my goals.

The way that we write the software it remains invisible at the dealer level, thus maintaining your warranty.

In the almost 5 years that we have been doing my cars as well as clients and friends, the only voided warranty resulted from a client bragging to his service advisor about the tuning. Other than that no voided warranties! The way we bind the new programming to allot of your original information keeps it under the radar... and your warranty in tact!
