'07 SL55 Auction Prices?
I am going to look at a black '07 SL55 tomorrow. The vehicle has a little over 30,000 miles. Can one of you gentlemen list any auction prices for this year and model? Thank you in advance, Rodbuster.

Great price.
Buyer Beware of:
1. Body repair
2. Check it out with paint meter
3. May be due for new brakes-check it out (dealer rotors are $1K ea)
4. Have dealer run Netstar to get the factory build sheets
5. Haver dealer run service history to make sure that warranty is still good.
6. Check front end and all suspension for damage from curbs pot holes, etc.
7. Run car fax to verify not a Hurricane Katrina Orphan or flood damage special.
8. Worth spending a couple of hundred to get a compression check and have a mechanic check out the engine. Some repairs may not be cover under factory warranty.

I have watched 4 or 5 of them in Manheim lately.. They cant be sold in the auction (notice the month old sale dates on the Manheim).. MB credit wont go below 70k and they dont get any bids.. Wait, they are about to take a 5-6k drop. 09's new body will kill the 07's.. Wait 1 month and you will get a 10k mile car for 70k..

yes I have sources every other week.. They will be reran at the auction again maybe this week.. I will check..
What I mean is that Mb financial(car was either lease or repo) will not accept it yet, but they will eventually have to b/c the market is sooo bad.(seen the stock market lately..) I put in a bid at 68k on a silver one 12k miles and the bidding closed they said no they want 73k.. No one else bid..
Wait it out and they will cut them loose.
If they put them in the sale this week I will get copies of the condition reports and send them to you.
