What was interesting is that the orginial build date was off by at least a week and I have heard this from others as well, meaning that the cars are actually build earlier than promised.
These guys in Bremen, Germany are only open from 8am-4pm (including the operator

Regarding your expected long wait for a car, a technique that frequently works for high-demand Ferraris is to tell the dealer that you are not particular about colors and options, and that if he has a cancellation, he should call you. You might be surprised at how soon an acceptable car shows up - people change their minds (or run out of cash) all the time. And if he calls you with an offer of a purple car with pink seats and no radio, you just take a pass.

He was very nice and helpful, and wanted to know where I obtained his number... "A friend..." I told him

Regarding the turbine wheels: I was quite irritated with my salesperson as he did not even offer them to me as an option!!
I think a few of us from the board should open our own MB dealership...lol... we would actually know a thing or two about the vehicles we are selling.

FINALLY received the VIN from my dealer, only after I sent him a fax requesting it??
URRRGGGHHH....
Here is the conversation from this morning to give you an idea of what I deal with:
ME: Good morning Lee, I received your message.
HIM: Yeah I have the VIN.
ME: it would probably be easier if you faxed it to me.
HIM: Yeah I can fax it to you but do not have your fax number on your order sheet.
ME: My fax is XXX-XXX-XXXX.
HIM: I will get this to you right now.
ME: Thank you.
HIM: O-Kay.. CLICK (hung up phone)....
He has ended every conversation I have ever had with him with the O-Kay.. CLICK (hung up phone).... line.
Really pisses me off as I feel he treats me like a kid. I cannot wait until I have my hands on the comment card.

They are pretty terrible, unless of course, you are a 50-something person. I am 27, and my dealer does not like the fact that I have one on order.

I have encountered similar problems in dealing with s.fla mercedes dealers. there is clearly a supply and demand miss-match down here. The Palm Beach store is no differnt than pompano, lauderdale or miami, unfortunately. Don't feel age discriminated, I get treated the same, am50+, and have purchased 5 amg cars in last 3 years. Apparently I have exactly the same color and spec'd car you have ordered. Good luck.
