First of all, i have NO affiliation with Directcartoys. If you want to hear if for your self why dont you give them a call and see if they have even ever heard of me. Directcartoys is located in Sunrise Florida. The ZIP CODE 33433 is from Boca Raton, Florida. NOT SUNRISE! I had posted there ebay link on the start of this page because they do not have a website. They are located (ALMOST 40 MINUTES AWAY) from me and before i went ahead and purchase the trunk lip from them i wanted to see if anybody had bought it from them yet because i wanted to know the fitment, ect.

For you who are so interested to know what model sl i have , it is a sl500. The reason i had blurred the "500" is because i wanted to see how it would look with just the SL not the SL500. And yes, i had put the AMG badge on the other side.

As far as the "SITE SPONSOR", i apologize if I had upset you by selling multiple parts on this forum.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Ooooohh almost a whole 40 min away love your pathetic rationalization of your SL55/65/63 Photo-chop w/Special edition AMG badging lol That car's an abomination, I've been to South Florida (South Beach etc..) there has to be some sort've commune down there for Special badgers

It wouldn't bother me 1 bit if you sold 1,000,000 products on here, as long as they were QUALITY & not ILL fitting wrong-colored crap.. You're going to have issues w/Moderators ie NOT paying sponsor dues...Have a nice day

I cant believe that you still think that i am the seller of the spoilers.

And for the record i have only sold 2 different items on this forum. Both whom have yet to sell. So i dont even know what you are talking about, saying that I am selling a ton of different items. Im very surprised that you neglected to find that out throughout all of your research.

Whats all the fuss about,if the guy wants to put Amg badges on his car,so what,if he wants to paint it orange with red spots,so what, its his car so he can do what he wants.
we all add bits and peaces to to make are cars look good in are own eyes,do i have to like what you have done,of course not,it is a matter of taste.
Thericker, enjoy your car,it looks awsome, but don,t slag people off who add or delete bits and peaces just because you dont think they look good to you.
With regards to directcartoys sl spoiler,
i bought one 4 months ago,it was an excellent fit, color perfect and very well packaged.
I live in BC so honestly i have no association with this company.
SL55AMGSTER enjoy your car,if you like what you mods you do to it,thats all that matters

There is no way that it will fit properly. I plan on calling them on Monday.
I spoke to the supplier this AM and they are going to replace it. They told me that they were replacing the fiberglass spoiler with an ABS plastic one and that is a good thing since the ABS will give the flex that is needed to install it easily. Great Company to work with!!!

Prior to install the ABS spolier, leave the spoiler exposed to the sun for 10-15 minutes and it will bend easier for installation.

I have been sitting on the sidelines pending receipt of my spoiler that arrived yesterday. I installed it today and yes, the color match is perfect, the quality is excellent, it fits like a glove and, I only paid $259.00 plus $24.00 shipping on eBay. I was the only bidder and waited until the last day. You may want to try that. So, IMHO, these spoilers are first rate and add a lot of pazazzz to the rear end of any SL regardless of pedigree or wannabe.

Hey Thericker,
i have seen that spoiler on a sl63 in town,it looks ok,my spoiler is slightly less proud of the trunk as you can tell by the photo,s.
I do like the way it fits around the rear brake light, and it looks like it is a very clean fit.
Good luck with your purchase

happy motoring bc brit

I think they sold me your bad unit...exact same issue.

I emailed them so we'll see what happens. Was the replacement a better fit?

Why would you put replica parts on a $60-100k+ car??

Too cheap to buy the real thing?

No probably too smart to pay the highly inflated prices from the Stealership/Mercedes.
