Brake upgrade on SL600...
Hey yall, was wondering if any 600 owners have upgraded there brakes? I also would like to know which would you perfer? I'm sitting on 18s and paln to stay that way. What are your thoughts on the Brembo Gran Turismo Big Brake Kit?

1994 AMG E60 (W124); 1997 SL600; & few others that I cannot fit in here
I suppose it depends on one's usage. I, for myself, do "normal" driving, thus feel the stock is adequate for my driving style. Also, bigger brakes mean more dead weight overall. Cost is a factor too. Good luck w/ your new brakes, if you take that route. w/ smiles Jimmy

Our cars already come w/outstanding (Brembo) Basically the huge AMG Calipers/rotors etc stock but just have Mercedes logo only. I loves mines
unless you're into super auto cross, there's NO need ..
BEST oem brakes/calipers I've ever had, & stops these heavy *** cars on a dime...

2008 MB CL600. 2020 MB E300 de. 1987 BMW M535i.
Just remove the last silencors/mufflers (1 on each side).
And just put straight pipes there instead.
But at the same time, you should put AMG-like tips there instead of the stock tips!
And then,you will get the sound and looks like my old one had.
I was VERY pleased by that look and sound!

Just remove the last silencors/mufflers (1 on each side).
And just put straight pipes there instead.
But at the same time, you should put AMG-like tips there instead of the stock tips!
And then,you will get the sound and looks like my old one had.

Couldn't be happier w/outcome (there not slencers or reso's, he means the actual MUFFLERS)
