Angry SL55 And the check Engin Light codes p0422 & p0432

I have this SL55 AMG 2004', i have the engine lamp sometimes goes ON and sometimes goes OFF. the thing is when it goes ON, i think the power of the car is not as usual. when i took the car to the dealer they told me that i need to change the whole exhuast system (after getting codes p0422 "Catalytic Converter Right" & p0432 "Catalytic Converter Left" which is Kleemann that i have installed in my car where fixing the car will cost me Around $9000 for the exhuast system only . I barely use my car!, how come it will cost me such amount!!!!!

is there anyone familiar with this problem?

any help is apprciated.

Regards

You mention Kleemann...do you have Kleemann headers on your car? If so you probably need the Kleemann ECU tune to disable the O2 sensors.

It's not something you can fix yourself. You'd need someone to modify the ECU. Suggest you try emailing cory@kleemannusa.com and see if he can help or at least point you in the right direction.

Good luck!
