I done it! new baby coming.
Well I drove the SL63 to day, it's awsome.
That noise, the gearbox and the brakes, makes my SL55 feel antique.
I reckon I got a great deal, taking both my CL65 and my SL55 in exchange.
The nice thing is my SL55 is in their workshop having several faults fixed.
But now it's their car
I bought the SL63 in the showroom, it looks fantastic in Paladium Silver
with the Carbon pack, even the side vents look ok.
I'll post some pics when I get her next weekend.

Thanks guys, I will miss the 65 but then I still have the S600. The CL65
always felt like a sports version of the 600. As far as the 55 goes, I was faced with paying for a new fuel pump , the central locking fixing, a leak in the boot, and a small crack to the windscreen. All these problems are now the dealers!! The look of the 63 with the carbon package looked so good,
and when I drove it something majic happened. I also get 3 years peace of mind.

damn i envy you guys who have the carbon pack... i couldnt order the carbon pack or the performance pack with my dealer when i ordered my car... luckily revozport will come out with some nice parts for our cars soon!

I still can't find a decent shop in HK to do that for me. This is so sad...
I might just end up getting the carlsson ck63rs kit instead as it replaces the entire exhaust system.. but I will definitely wait till warranty is over (which is 1 yr in HK)

Not sure why its a big deal there. Just cut them off with saw, then custom bend some equal diameter piping and weld it back into place.
All those tuner shops in HK and no one can bend some pipe?

Damn... to go from a SL55 to SL63, a CL65 was given away.
I don't know if I could do that...
You say that these are the dealer's problems with the SL55 but I'm sure they gave you that much less for your car because of those problems.

was in the workshop. They still don't know what the problem is, anyway it's
their problem now. I'm not sure about the exhaust mods, it already makes a big sound!!! Can't wait to post some pics. How do you guys get such big
pictures posted, they will only let me send 800x600 pics.

Nice car congrats...I got rid of my CL65 AMG too and wish i didn't. Little **** was starting to pile up on it though and it was starting to cost me $800 here, $600 there etc and had 60k miles on it.

normally, and my SL55 wasn't too dissimilar. Now I have the the S600 and
the quite different SL63 and they are completely different to drive.
Also my SL55 had loads of things to fix and my warranty on the 65 ran out in September.

You may find the E63 a little lacking in torque. Still if you buy be sure to post
some pictures. Good Luck.
