FAB-DESIGN BODY KIT for SL55 & SL65....
Has anyone heard of, or has knowledge of this Body Kit by FAB-DESIGN for SL's? I personally like the look of this kit, but I have been unsuccessful in locating the USA Sales Rep for FAB-DESIGN, let alone trying to discover the pricing etc.! Thanks to all for your assistance and or input on this topic!!!

I'm not feeling it...maybe in a darker color it would look better. I just think it breaks up the lines of the SL. I'd rather go more subtle look to allow 335 rears...a look that at a first glance you may not notice.
The front for some reason reminds me of an M6.

I agree there are many angles that just don't work, but having said that notice how similar it is to the latest SL65 Black Series if you could ditch there bumpers & replace w/Black Series model bumpers, then put some more edge on the wider fenders (too marshmellowy needs sharper angles on fenders, & the side skirts) I'd be all over it...

Thanks for the input!! Your E is looking sick as hell as well.. I like what you did to your K Motor, great look!!! Let me know if you have any ideas on what I'm trying to accomplish and check out my reply to "Thericker" which explains why I'm looking to do this mod now! Thanks man!!!

Thanks for the input and I couldn't agree more as I like the wide body look and to be able to put 335's on the rear and possibly 275's on the front! So my search continues for the right body parts! Some DUMB-*** rear ended my wife while she was driving my SL55 just last Wednesday! Luckily and most importantly she didn't get hurt and the damage was limited to the rear clip and the exhaust's were pushed forward and down! You have no idea how sick this made me when you do everything to keep your ride in pristine condition! So I figured now is time to play around with some mods, but have to find the right look! Thanks again my fellow MB friends!!!

There is a place in Los Angeles that does Fab Design. I Saw a cl 550 with a full on Fab Design and it looked amazing. Here is there info:

Hi dave, i did contact fab design a while back and this is what i got back in there email. Your car has to be shipped to europe in austria i believe where they are located, and they put the bodykit for you. It costs around 25 to 30k or even more but if you do want a widebodykit there are some companies in the cali area which would do a better job for around 20k and make it look better than that. I love the sl blackseries look and if you plan to do widebody than i suggest you should go that route....... which looks close to that.

The fogs and side panels kill me...also it needs an alignment bad (look at the front camber). It would have been better to tone down the side panels, get a more stock look with the fogs, and use the front bumper as a template and add a subtle front spoiler lip.
I'd like to see what they did to the rear, though. It might have dual quad exhausts...

Ouch...All it needs are the string of gauges on the A-pillars. Man that looks tacked on...i.e. cheap looking.
