Quick question........AMG exhaust tips.....
I have a Carlsson rear skirt on my R230, and am wondering if the rear opening will accommodate the AMG quad tips. Could one of you SL55 owners please tell me what the overall width of your tips is?

I just measured the width of my tips,you will need a gap of a minimum of 26 cms,slightly larger would be better,but 26 cms will work,make sure the tips do not touch your rear valance as they get very hot

All I am asking is for someone to put a tape measure across the entire tip assembly........

Each tip is just shy of 4 3/4 inches. Total width of each pair is 9 3/4 inches.
