SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Continental tires extreme road noise?

Continental tires extreme road noise?
I currently have Continental Sport Contact 2 tires on my Sl55.
The sizes are Front 255/30/20 and Rear 305/25/20.
I've had the tires on the car for 3 years minus 3 winters and have driven apprx 12,000 miles on the tires. I replaced the rears (to many burnouts) last year. The fronts still have alot of tread but they have become very noisy? The tire shop told me that the insides are worn due to lowering. I had them switch the front rims hoping the noise would go away but it is still very loud. Has anyone had the same experience with the continentals? I will be receiving my SL63 in a week or two and will be putting these wheels on the car but do not want to deal with the road noise on a brand new car.
Thanks

Michg.elin all the way
I was offered contis when I got my asantis. I read the reviews and how at one point they were even seperating under extreme driving.
I run Michelin 305-25-20 and 255-25-20 and love the ride. Close your eyes and make the investment and you will enjoy your ride even more.
