SL65 question! Which of the SLs (R230) have the chrome trim on front grille?
Interesting detail..
My 2006 SL65 has a small piece of chrome trim on the leading edge of the (4) grille slats...
I have only seen this once before on another SL65...
Is this unique to only the SL65?.... Is there specifically an SL65 grille?
The grille is actually different then my SL55 grille because there is a small indent on each slat to take the chrome pieces.....
How many other cars (R230s )have this type of grille.
PS,
I am not referring to the after-market chrome overlays that are much wider and cover the entire slate.

My SL600 has the chrome trim, it also has Distronic. Your SL65 does not appear to have Distronic, so it could be part of the V12 trim.
