Got a new SL63
Well I did it. Traded in my 07 SL55 on an 09 SL63. It's a designo model with the mocha black and sand interior. I love the interior, reminds me of the interior on my CLS550, more richer looking leather color than the stone that was in the SL55. Haven't had a chance to get on it, its in the shop after 2 days of ownership. The teleaid module was bad and needed to be replaced. I am also having them paint, the hideous to me, silver panels on the front fenders to match the car color. Since the car is an dark color, it seemed to me that it broke the flow of the car. Just my thought though. Deprecation sucks on the Sl55. Got them to give me $68000 on the trade plus $15500 off MSRP. They tried the normal sales stuff, $65 on the trade and $7000 off to start. You can see where we ended up.
Can't comment on the power side, but love the new Command unit, the growl is great, starting to like the new shape. Hope I don't miss the rawness of the SC on the 55. In 3 weeks will be headed to Sedona from Houston. Can't wait to get into the 80 to 100 MPH zone between San Antonio and El Paso. Pics later.

i will be having the cf fender grills installed soon! also the cf trunk lip spoiler, mirrors and diffuser! hopefulli we can get some pics by mid week next week!
