Updated steering wheel for SL65...
Well I had the DCT upgrade my stock SL65 steering wheel to the following:
They (Ivan @ DCT) have been very cool to deal with...can't wait to add the flappy paddle shifters...![Stick Out Tongue](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
OLD STEERING WHEEL from DCT: I bought their flat bottom DTM style steering wheel, but wanted CF to match the rest of the interior. Ivan @ DCT was kind enough to take my stock SL65 wheel core and build that up while I had this steering wheel. I will send this steering wheel back in trade.

COMPLETED CF STEERING WHEEL

I like the all leather, flat bottomed wheel. Where did you get it and are the shift paddles on the wheel and do they work?
Thanks.....

I got it from DCT Motorsports. They have posted in several subforums...esp. W211 AMG...just do a search under "steering wheel" in W211 AMG.
The paddle shifters aren't on the wheel yet. There was a thread started on the forum showing how to put on the flappy paddle shifters (I think it was on a CLS AMG...not sure though). I had saved the thread on my laptop...I'll send it to you once I get home...still in transit overseas.

Thanks to 1badassbenz and BrianS for pics and writeup...I'm basically getting these instructions to my tuner shop so they can get the OEM paddle shifters on the new DTM CF steering wheel. I used to have the part# that is on the box, but that is in Florida. If you can't wait you could PM 1badassbenz, he gave me the part# and I went to my local MB dealership and got them there.
