Retrofitting OEM 07' SL55 Frnt bumper on my 05'SL600
Upgrading to full SL55 OEM AMG 2007 frnt bumper, it'll need new style 07' Fog lights & all mesh pieces, to make the rerofit smooth as possible.
Now my Q: Anyone here have the older 2005 SL AMG front bumber that needs replacing or just some parts? mine comes w/ALL MESH pieces + fog lights (in tip top condition not a scratch (Color is base MB Black)
The 2005 SL r230 frnt bumper fits all SL models-even NON AMG, thru these years 2003-2004-2005-2006
Both bumpers are well cared for, allready pre painted black just needs install...
Throw me some offers on the 2005, as I'm obviously going for an upgrade here.
If no 1 steps up w/offers, I will purchase the 07' bits from dealer then be more than happy to cutt my fellow members a great deal on THE 05' mine comes w/ALL MESH pieces + fog lights (in tip top condition not a scratch (Color is base MB Black) litterally plug n' play, I'll let her go for $375.00 plus shipping unless you live nearby for pick-up...

You will have to replace the grille with the 07 3 slot grille. and you may have to get 6 new parking sensors. I havent tried to swap them yet so I dont know how they work. but the 06 down bumpers have seperate bumper strips that house the sensors. The 07 has molded in strips that have the sensor holes in them.

If you go through with the replacement let me know. The change is not plug and play since you will need new inner fenders, reinforcements behind the bumper cover, grille and more. I recently had mine done, a 2005 SL55, and there were 34 different parts that were necessary to do the replacement. I have the parts list with the cost and will be more than happy to let you have it.
