saw a thread on renntech's forum (which is down right now...) that an sl62, s62 and a cl62 will be released.
600+hp.
i think they cited a car mag (car & driver?). anyone else hear about this and have further info?

"Mercedes has unofficially spilled the beans that they will offer an (approximately 650 Horsepower with 750 lb/ft of torque !!) twin-turbo V-12 next year for the S, CL, and SL model lines. They will be called the S62, CL62, and SL62 AMG's. They will have 6.2 liter engines with twin-turbos and intercoolers and the sedan will have zero to 60 from the factory in 4 seconds !!!!! The CL will be one or two tenths faster at every speed, and the SL will be about a tenth faster at every speed than the CL !!!!! They will be fully modified AMG cars with upgraded brakes, suspension, chassis, computer programming, and interior.... interiors will be done completely in genuine hand-made suede, Nappa leather, and polished wood-grain !! Truly these will be the Kings among all cars and it's gonna be awesome to see what Renntech and possibly the other tuners will do with this engine !!!
