To paint or not to paint???? Tell me what you think
Hey Guys,
I was thinking about repainting some of the things on my SL black. The car is going in the shop to get it's front bumper re done. The last owner didn't take good care of it and it has a bunch of scraches and nicks. The guy at the shop told me to think about what else I would want done, that way he could cut me a good deal while he is doing the other stuff. Me and my friend (both terrible at photoshop) sat down and came up with a few ideas.
For now I got to do the back on photo shop and wanna know what you guys think. Keep in mind that in a month or so I will be getting the Sl63 rear bumper with a Carbon diffuser on the car. The car also has a Carbon rear wing as you can see. Keep in mind that this is a crappy photo shop since I dont know how to do it and it was my first time using one.

The Mercedes-Benz SL (2003-2008) is a work of art... if you want a black car, trade your silver one in for a black one, otherwise you should leave it all silver... even if the paint shop guy offers you a discount to repaint the Mona Lisa.

A big no no
Your car looks good as it is,with the rear defuser in cb and the rear lid spoiler in the same it will look the donkeys nuts,a big mistake to paint it imho

First, what's the difference between the bottom two pictures you originally attached?
And second,
Do you mean you'd only paint the middle of the trunk-- if so do it! It'd be unique... but then again so would be dating a 80 year old woman.

Sell it before you destroy its beauty
These cars are like a beautiful woman with no make up. She needs very little work to improve on whats already there. Silver will age so well if cared for . Dont paint it please . Why not a silver lip ?. Theses cars are classy , I wish so many would take a minute and read and get good ideas instead of causing heart failure. LOL

Ohh Ohh Im getting attacked here. I'm not gonna paint it, I will keep it silver and focus more on the SL63 rear bumper. The lip and spoiler on my car are Carbon not black.
