Going fast in a straight line - How to start?

This coming from someone who tests their personal car (SL55) very little

How are you supposed to show the true speed of this car from a straight line? For example, I am sitting at a light (I dont track the car) and I want to go 0-60 in 4.4s as stated, or at least something near it - Do I just mash the pedal? Do I engage the ABC Sport suspension to help with the time? Or do I press the pedal down moderately? I say moderately because I don't want huge wheelspin and a big smoke coming out of the back tires when I accelerate

Thanks for helping out a newbie with speed

Here's how I get the fastest launches out of my car:
- Air conditioning off

- Suspension raised to max

- ABC Sport off

- ESP off (or dyno mode on, but that takes more time to set up)

- Left foot on brake, right foot above accelerator, engine RPMs at idle

- Simultaneously release the brake and roll into the accelerator, taking about 1 second (more or less depending on the road surface) to reach wide open throttle
If you want to simplify things you can skip the first four steps and focus on just the last two. After you get the hang of it then try the additional steps.

Good luck! Have fun with it!!
