Not having problems realy, but compared to the brembo's on the Sport they suck bigtime. The sl is a 2003. I would realy like the brakes to 'bite' when I hit them, just like they do on the Sport, the benz does not ! The benz-guys checked it and say it's normal, no fault on the system. Maybe I should ask the Land Rover-boys to check it and maybe upgrade it, since they are both brembo's. For a fast car they should have to work like the Range. It's that simple.

Update 12/08/09
Just had telephone call from Mercedes Benz UK.
They told me that because one technician at a MB dealers says he cannot find a fault they are not prepared to help and have closed the case on the car. This was after offering previously to let a MB tech look at it.
What a fantastic company Mercedes Benz UK is!! I own 3 MB cars , it looks like they will be the last. How they can let a car capable of 200 mph with a possible brake fault loose on the road I fail to see. I was prepared to pay for all work done to resolve the issue.
Having said all the above, the dealership is still prepared to help and we are going to discuss the matter in the next few days. I will keep you posted.
