SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Stupid question : Blue glass?

Stupid question : Blue glass?
So, this is normally the part in the W211 forum in which I chime in and say something like "search the effing forum, stupid" when a newb asks a stupid question. So, here I am in that same position, so I'll understand the snide remarks.
However, I did search the forum and found nothing. Here's my question:
On my other MBs, they all have a blue tint to the glass. Actually, my R500 doesn't, it's more of a mirror finish. I think that's due to the electrostatic glass. Anywho, my new to me SL600 doesn't appear to have this. Was this not a standard feature of the R230's?

Clayton...SL's don't have blue glass, at least I don't think they do; I've owned 2, my SL500 R230 and my SL55 R230...neither had bluish glass...
- are you getting your windows tinted, if so by whom? let me know. I can offer a few suggestions as well on some shops if you don't have one yet. R230 looks great w/ tinted windows, not too dark just right
- What are you doing about lowering? I'd like to get mine lowered with STAR; let me know what you're planning about lowering; maybe we can get them both done together...we may need to talk to hef to see if he can help us out

Sunir, I can get us STAR lowering but it has to be on the down low, as it's frowned upon at the place of business, and done in a dark alley at midnight by a band of gypsy pygmies. Well, at least I was able to get my E500 lowered before I put in the ELM. And yes, Hef would be able to help us.

... maybe with both of us we can get a little better pricing; STAR lowering is the way to go. we can keep our high setting safely and still have the disirable low setting done by STAR.Looking forward to it!
