SL55 AMG 2003 V-Max
Power operated trunk/tail – retrofit?
I noticed that the latest SL:s has power trunk/tail available, do anybody now if that can be retrofitted to a 2003 SL55 ?

As usual, anything is possible if you have the money. Among other things, the main roof hydraulic unit needs to be changed, and that's a very high cost part!

Hi lagolag, does your boot come up on its own with the button?? Cos mine doesnt...I know the S Class i used to have did it.. I think maybe the struts need replacing...or does it not open on its own?? Mine just clicks and thats it :S
