ecu tune
hi all how you guys doin?
dunno if you remember me but im the one with the modded 500, whose seller claimed o have 630hp.
well, i finally decided to send my ecu to vath in germany, and pay 1000kd (3000$ +) for an ecu and tcu tune.
they are back, got them in the car and NOTHING. not saying that they didnt tune my ecu, but im so pissed off, till cant figure out wats wrong with my car, i cant even sell the damn thing lol
anyways, heres my question, anything i should be doing as soon i get my ecu? should i wait for somthing? drive around a bit?
sorry for bothering you guys with this story, but im desprate!

Could you be more specific about what the car is doing or not doing? I'm guessing you did not see the gains you expected. Is the modded 500 you refer to in the post the 2002 SL500 Kleemann listed in the margin? If so, I would think the Kleemann mod would have included an ECU/TCU upgrade. 630 hp is a ton of additional power from an engine that produces about 300 hp stock. Help us out with some more details about what the car is doing and a list of the mods might be helpful as well. Hopefully we can get you some answers.

If I remember correctly, this car had a Kleeman SC upgrade, correct?
You are going to have to find a Kleeman dealer and have the car diagnosed. There are probably hardware issues to go along with the software. I believe that I told you that if we were going to work on your car the following would have to happen:
Clean bill of health for ALL the components
dyno with A/F ratios
Send the ECU with that information as well as a complete list of mods to the drive train.
This is a very challenging problem and I feel for you. Did the company that you sent everything to request the data that I listed?

yes, they also asked for the pulley size andmany other things... i provided them with every little detail, and sent them pics of "here and there"..
i wont be able to work on the car for the next week cuz im kinda sick.
