This is amazing!
Jerry at EUROCHARGED/LET TUNING sent my buddy in San Diego, Ca a handheld ECU programer. With the car in his own driveway and over the phone and via internet in less then 10 minutes my buddies 2005 CL65 picked up over 50HP and an additional 90LBS of torque.
There was no removing the ECU and sending it to far away places unknown. He just plugged the remote tuning device into his OBD 2 port entered a few commands and bam instant power increase!
My friend drove his car and thought that the new power band was a little to much in the higher RPM range for his driving style and in just 15 minutes Jerry was able to create a custom program to the CL65 ECU making more power in the mid range. He sent over the new file and it was installed almost instantly.
The car now pulls like a monster...

Seems like these threads are popping up everywhere. I'll add to this one that I gained 50RWHP and 80RWTQ. I was tuned on a dyno, so the gains are real.

Either sending my SL65 there next week or doing a remote tune with Jerry.
Have spoken with him and paid for the tune already. Can't wait.

Jerry, what type of gains would I be looking at on my sl55? I am in CA and would be interested if you did a group tune although I am in northern CA. Let me know.

See above for the conservative power gains. Retail for the tune is $800, as listed on the website. However, I was avoiding pricing until we figure out a location, number of guys attending, etc. I hope to bring that number down.

You sir are putting down some amazing strip numbers with your cars and seem to be an well experienced driver (I've read that you got used to have a TT Viper). A stock E55 in 11s is nuts on street tires. A stock SL65 doing 11.27(that's modded ECU 1/4 mile for many) that's even more crazy. I would love to see how much your SL65 puts down as a baseline and what you get out of the tune. 10s are amazing as I can't think of another car that is that luxurious, has a drop top, and with just a tune can do 10s. Simply amazing.

The gains are real, but you didn't get a Dyno-Tune Per se, you just got a canned flash w/Pre & Post Dyno results. Your SL600 has a lot of power left on the table, you should have Jerry custom/Dyno-tune her for optimum HP/TQ

Fair enough. What I should've said is that it was tuned while on a dyno. So I saw pre/post numbers, real time.

Just did the remote tune over the phone w/ Jerry on my SL55 and couldn't be happier! The car runs like a beast now and I would highly recommend Jerry's services to anyone thinking about doing this procedure to their car.
