OK, here it is. I updated the update. I replaced my 05, 06 SL65 front bumper with the 07, 08 SL65 front bumper. Not too much difference in the look. But I wanted to get as current as possible. All the inner parts are different. It has molded in bumper strips and faux mesh grill on the fog lights, and louvers instead of grills on the sides.

Now I have the complete 05, 06 SL65 front bumper to sell.
It is ready to bolt on. Everything you need. Its Brilliant silver 744. All the mesh grills and fog lights are new. It only has a few minor rock chips. I had it on the car for about 6-8 months.
Parking sensors and harness not included. If you have them you can swap to this bumper. If you dont have them you can use your strips.
And you get the yellow side markers.

I figure about $3500+ at current prices to buy it new.
Ill sell this one for $1800 + $100 ship depending on location.

I have 06 sl55, thinking of replacing to 07-08 bumper. Can you tell me where/who sell 07/08 bumper and about how much. Thanks

I bought mine from the dealer through my local body/paint shop. The total parts cost was $3,355.

But the parts cost has increased at least 10 to 20% since the first of the year. Check the cost now..

I had my conversion done in May of this year so the increase might have been in effect.

I dont know Lou, Ive been working on this for a couple months.
I cant get any of the prices you had on your list. Ive been told by every dealer that they had a price increase.

Example;
bumper, you paid $1200, list is $1530,

center mesh grill, you paid $218, list is $286

one inner cover, you paid $49.50, list is $65
example; for this I paid $52 and I am getting 20% discount on everything.

I cant come near your prices and I get 20% discount. I think they ve gone up, or youre getting a hell of a deal somewhere.

When I had this done there was a discount on the parts. Someone on this forum or the R230 forum said that he was able to get a 15% discount. I did not unfortunately. Perhaps the increase went into effect after my conversion was done. In any event the increases are absurd especially since the parts have already been made and are most likely sitting in inventory.

so you have to replace the stuff beneath the bumper along with the cover? What does it take to upgrade an 05 sl600 to 07 sl65?
